INSP Films Finalizes Casting for “County Line”

(Indian Land, SC – November 9, 2016) – INSP Films has finalized casting on its newest film, County Line, a crime drama currently being filmed in Toccoa, Georgia.  The announcement was made by Gary Wheeler, Vice President of Original Movies at INSP Films.

County Line tells the story of Alden Rockwell, an aging ex-sheriff dealing with the recent death of his wife and forced into retirement after losing a re-election bid.  When his old war buddy, closest friend and neighboring sheriff, Clint Thorne, is critically shot, Rockwell finds himself in the middle of a non-sanctioned investigation.  Amidst a dangerous threat to his own life, Rockwell refuses to stand by while a ruthless element takes over the town.

Cast in the leading role as Alden Rockwell is Tom Wopat (The Dukes of Hazzard, Longmire, Django Unchained).  Sheriff Clint Thorne will be played by Jeff Fahey (Texas Rising, Justified, Lost, Under the Dome).  The movie also features Patricia Richardson, (Home Improvement, The West Wing) who plays the spunky diner owner, Maddie Hall.

“Audiences who enjoyed Tom Wopat in Longmire and Jeff Fahey in Texas Rising will thoroughly enjoy County Line”, said Wheeler.  It embodies all of the elements of a great crime drama, including a surprising and unexpected ending.”

County Line is produced by INSP Films and will be distributed by Imagicomm Entertainment.  The movie is scheduled for release in late summer or early fall of 2017.
